The National Duckpin Bowling Congress was established on September 8th, 1927 and is the parent and supervising Duckpin Bowling organization in the United States.

The responsibilities of the NDBC include:

• Lane Inspections and Certification
• Individual Membership and League Registration
• Publishes a Rule Book, Format Book, Brochures, FORMS, etc.
• National Tournament - the Oldest event in the Duckpin World
• Tournament Guidelines and Registration
• National Rankings for Top male and female bowlers

Duckpin Bowling can be found predominately on the East Coast of the United States in Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Other states include North Carolina, West Virginia, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.
